Dev Sindhu is a young entrepreneur leading offshore businesses of Sindhu Family, promoters of leading coal mining, logistics and coal washing businesses in India. He has over 17 years of business experience in different sectors ranging from financial services, stock markets, real estate, Coal mining, infrastructure, Oil and Gas and Energy sectors. Dev has served as the Chairperson of Pan-Commonwealth Youth Caucus (PCYC), the Youth division of Commonwealth Secretariat, London between 2003 – 2006. He is currently leading Param Mitra Group, headquartered in Singapore and is developing various coal mining assets, infrastructure, mining services, and Oil and Gas businesses in Indonesia, Australia and Myanmar. Mr Sindhu graduated from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University in 1996 and received an MBA from UK’s Cardiff Business School in 2000.
Grant Petersen Managing Director
Grant Petersen is one of the founders of Pacific Hunt Energy. Mr Petersen has over 35 years of global entrepreneurial experience and has an extensive understanding of investing and dealing in emerging markets. Mr Petersen served as a Director of International Business Development for Holloman Corporation from 2008 – 2016 where he was responsible for exploring oil and gas investment. Prior to co-founding Pacific Hunt Energy, he was involved in numerous corporate ventures and businesses for Holloman which include oil and gas projects including Yukon and Alberta in Canada, Cooper Basin in Australia and highlands ExxonMobil project in Papua New Guinea. In his early career, Mr Petersen’s company Western Pacific Contracting was involved in road building, logging contracting and logistics in western Canada. Mr Petersen was a pioneer in Myanmar. He provides strong in-country leadership and has developed deep relationships with both the Myanmar government and its business community.
Mr. K. James Ebeling, also known as Jim, is a director of Pacific Hunt Energy and served as Chief Financial Officer of Holloman Corporation from 2007 to 2018. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Ebeling served as a Vice President of SUEZ Energy North America, Inc., and provided project management and development services on a variety of multi-billion dollar energy related projects. Prior to 2001, Mr. Ebeling served as Vice President of Hawkins Oil and Gas from 1996 to 2001, Transworld Oil Company from 1989 to 1996. He has a mechanical engineering degree from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania
Girish AgarwalDirector & CFO
Mr Girish Agarwal is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Hunt Energy Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, USA with extensive working experience of more than 18 years in Banking, Private Equity and Finance functions in Energy and Commodity Companies. Girish has diverse expertise across various functions including Risk Management, Finance & Business Strategy, Debt capital market, Private Equity and Corporate Restructuring. He is based in Singapore for the last 13 years and was a CFO of an SGX Mainboard-listed company for five years.
Simon ByrneIndependent Director
Mr Simon Byrne is the Chief Executive Officer of Steppe Capital Pte Ltd, a Singapore based private family office with substantial investments in the oil and gas sector, amongst others. Prior to joining Steppe Capital in 2008, Mr Byrne worked in corporate and investment banking for 22 years, including 17 years with ABN AMRO Bank and RBS Global Banking & Markets where he served as a Managing Director covering the oil & gas sector. Prior to that, he held positions with Asahi Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Limited. Since November 2017, Simon has served as a Non-Executive Director at Nostrum Oil and Gas PLC, an upstream E&P company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Bala SwaminathanIndependent Director
Mr Bala Swaminathan is currently Advisory Board Member of Westpac Asia, Strategic Advisor and Board Member of SREI Financial Services Ltd and Co-founder of S Cube Capital Pte Ltd. Bala was a founder member of KPMG India and played a key role in building the business from the ground up. Bala joined ICICI Bank as CFO in 2001. He was appointed as Head of Corporate Banking in 2003 and oversaw the transformation of ICICI from a project finance institution to a commercial bank. Bala was Head of Corporate Banking for South and South-East Asia (16 countries) at Standard Chartered Bank and grew the business across the region with a diverse team. In 2012 he joined Westpac as President International and oversaw growth across the region.
