Chris Baker

Drilling Operations Manager

Chris has over 32 years of upstream energy experience in operational, technical and management positions with large operators and service providers (ConocoPhillips, Schlumberger) involved in conventional and unconventional drilling, completion, well intervention/stimulation and production projects in Western Canada and the Arctic, USA, Trinidad and Australia.

Chris has delivered continuous performance improvement in several major projects through benchmarking, capturing and sharing best practices/lessons learned, challenging existing processes and implementing innovative technology. Chris is known as a “people” manager experienced in building empowered teams that value performance and execution excellence, technical competency and career development.

Chris holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Colorado State University.

James (Jim) Sanford

Rig Operations Manager

Jim has over 35 years of oilfield experience with operations both Offshore and Onshore drilling rigs. Jim’s been in the position of Base Manager and Operations Manager for the last sixteen years, mostly in South East Asia.

Jim’s vast amount of experience of managing drilling operations on some of the largest drilling projects in the Asian area and his contributions and expertise dealing with the execution of the drilling programs has been greatly welcomed and sought after by Operators such as Chevron, Pearl Oil, Total E&P, Coastal Energy and Petronas just to name a few. Over the last several years Jim has typically been in charge of a fleet of Offshore Jackup Rigs however Jim is quite excited to be on the ground floor of such an exciting project with Pacific Hunt Energy – Myanmar.

Jim is originally from San Antonio, Texas, has a degree (AA) from San Antonio College and all relative Oilfield training and certifications.

George Lattimore

Field Operations Manager

George Lattimore possesses deep in-country experience through his previous role as a Myanmar Drilling Superintendent for Total E&P (M6 Block) and China National Petroleum Corporation (Rakhine Basin). He has over 35 years of oilfield experience in drilling, completion and work-over operations, engineering, and logistics, contracting and project management where he held roles as General Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Drilling Manager/Superintendent/Engineer. George has previously worked on projects in South East Asia, for Total E&P, CNPC, Pertamina, Salamander Energy, Weatherford, Marathon Oil and ConocoPhillips. George holds a Bachelor Degree in Geology and Physics from Colgate University.

George Lattimore

Win Myint

Drilling Engineer

Win Myint has over 30 years experience in drilling, logistics and project management in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has extensive experience working in the remote area of North West Myanmar. He holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering degree and has a proven track record in exploration drilling, development and workover projects whilst optimising costs within a tight schedule and achieving HSE targets. Win Myint has worked in Thailand, Singapore and Myanmar.
